PRAYER FOR THE PEOPLE

We praise your abiding guidance, O God, for you sent us Jesus, our Teacher and Messiah, to model for us the way of love, trust and gratitude. We thank you for your creation and all the good things on the earth.

We pray for the peace of the world. We pray for the countries experiencing hungers and wars. Eternal God restores peace upon those nations.

We pray for people in place of authority in Ottawa, and all the municipalities in Canada, grant them wisdom to lead with the fear of God.

God that created heaven and earth, we remember all the people that need our prayers in our community. People that need your healing touch. We openly or silently name or  before you God the people.

●       Jehovah Rapha you are the ultimate healer, and we trust in your power to restore good health. May your grace surround all the sick and weak people in this community and bring comfort and healing to their body, mind and soul in Jesus’ name I pray.

●       Jehovah Jireh you are the ultimate provider of good things of life. Please come down now and bless all these people listen to my voice with good things of life in Jesus name. And we gather all our prayers together into the prayer Jesus taught us:

The Lord’s Prayer: Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom and the power, and the glory, forever and ever. Amen
